Capua Winery
Capua Winery was born from an idea of its founder Riccardo Capua to identify, in a particular terroir of the Tuscan Maremma, in the Albegna valley near Saturnia, ideal microclimatic conditions to experiment with the breeding and winemaking of a multi-varietal range of native and international grape varieties.
In its six hectares of very intensively planted vineyards, with eight thousand vines per hectare, Capua Winery grows Alicante, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay and Sangiovese.
