The Podere San Giovanni organic farm located on the border of the Trasubbie Creek Nature Reserve, the farm rests amidst the slopes of its estate, from whose highest knoll, Santa Croce, there is an unrestricted view: all around the rolling hills of the legendary Morellino di Scansano. The farm, of about 105 hectares, is mainly devoted to grazing the herd of Limousin beef cows, raised in a semi-wild state, and foraged exclusively with the farm’s organic production of hay barley and field beans, with no use of corn, soy or silage. All animals are born on the farm.
