Pierini e Brugi extra-virgin oil
In keeping with the centuries-old traditions of oil production in the Tuscan Maremma, lulivettaccio is a superior extra virgin olive oil obtained by cultivating the olive tree using organic farming methods. Its name derives from an appellation by which grandparents used to refer to an old, unproductive olive grove, from which, however, they always obtained the best oil.
Coming exclusively from the company’s olive groves including, precisely, lulivettaccio where the local varieties frantoiano, leccino and moraiolo are grown, it is made from olives harvested by hand picking.
The olives harvested from the tree, once transported to the oil mill, are cold pressed (i.e., at a controlled temperature of 27°C) thus obtaining lower yields, but ensuring a higher quality of the product so as not to alternate the aromatic components.
Green in color with golden highlights, with a fruity and delicate flavor this oil goes well with all the products of the Mediterranean diet of which it is a prince component.
